The goal of our data collection is to collect all information generated by political actors active in the Swiss national political system. This includes all data available from the government itself, either made available on their webpage or on their social media accounts. Furthermore, we collect available data generated by the members of the Swiss parliament and the different parties which are holding seats in the parliament chambers. During electoral campaigns, we include all candidates running for a seat before elections into our data collection processes. Additionally, we also collect data from newspapers as well as other organizations actively engaged in swiss politics.
To see a list of all the different actors we collect data for: See the list published in our Github documentation repository. This repository is regularly updated via a script which returns all the different actors / accounts within the data base. The file contains information on the type of data we collect for each actor as well as his alias, party, first- and last-name if applicable to the actor.
