The SRF Arena as an object of investigation for political debate

The Digital Demcracy Lab as a data source has post-coded the subtitles of the SRF Arena in such a way that the respective statements are assigned to the persons present. Who actually talks the most in the SRF Arena, what are the messages of the parties, and what emotions hide behind them? Many investigations are possible with this rich data set. The first step is to evaluate which parties and politicians actually speak the most in the SRF Arena.

For example the persons of the respective parties who talked the most in the SRF Arena:

The data are a compilation of the media database FARO, the teletext subtitles of SWISS TXT and a post-entry by the Digital Democracy Lab of the University of Zurich. The evaluations were carried out by the Digital Democracy Lab team.

These and further evaluations can be found on Github. On the one hand there is documentation of the evaluation and an example data set for replication.
